Born and bred in Beautiful Brunswick, GA, Scott Ryfun has been entertaining the Golden Isles for the last 40 years...but only the last 17 on the radio. Scott's showbiz career began in second grade when he began to enter talent contests doing word-for-word recreations of Bill Cosby routines from his parents' records (these vinyl things they used to have back in the day). Being named Most Humorous in his graduating class at Brunswick High did nothing to dissuade him from pursuing his goal of entertaining people, and he went off to college to continue chasing the dream. After spending four and a half years at Florida State University and hosting a call-in TV show (suitable only for cable. Picture Girls Gone Wild...without the girls), Scott returned home and began his radio career at the oldest, most historic radio station in Brunswick, WMOG. Scott guided the morning show on WMOG, a tiny 600-watt AM station, to the #1 spot in the ratings, against a couple of 100,000-watt FMs and a couple of 50,000-watt FMs. Then it was on to his next challenge. While staying with the same radio group continuously for his entire radio career, Scott has taken a crack at nearly every show on every station in the six-station Qantum of Brunswick cluster. His prolific body of work has recently earned him the distinction of being The Most-Listened-to Man in South Georgia Radio.
